- What are your rates? Please check our rates page for more information on that: (link to rates)
- What time is check in/check out? Check-in is at 1:00 pm and Check Out is at 12 noon
- Can I check in early or check out late? If your site is available, you can check in as early as 8:00 am for a $10 fee. If you site is available, you can do a late check out up until 4:00 pm for a $10 fee. If you stay after 5pm you will be charge for a full night stay.
- How far are you from the I-10 interstate? We are between exit 2 and exit 13 about 10 minutes from the interstate, but Hwy 90 runs parallel to I-10, so you don’t have to back track when you leave the park. It ends up adding about 2.5 miles to your trip if you take one exit and then get back on the next exit from either direction.
- Are there any special directions to get to the park? Your GPS will get you to our park if you plug in our address of 8360 Lakeshore Rd, Bay St. Louis, MS. A good landmark when you are getting close is the big Silver Slipper Casino marquee. When you see that marquee, get ready to turn! We are only ½ mile down Lakeshore off Hwy 90 on the left-hand side.
- How far are you from the beach? We are 4 miles to the Gulf. You take a left out of our park and there is one stop sign between you and the water on that 4-mile road.
- How far are you from a grocery store? We are 4 miles to Waveland where you will find a Walmart and a Claiborne’s Grocery, there is also a Dollar General about a mile from the park.
- How far are you to restaurants? We are 4 miles to restaurants in Waveland, or you can take the beach road to Old Town Bay St. Louis to places on the water.
- How far are you to casinos? The closest casino is the Silver Slipper and it is 4 miles. Hollywood casino is 9 miles and you can also go to Gulfport or Biloxi which is 30 – 45 minutes.
- How far are you to New Orleans? It takes about 45 minutes from our driveway to get to the French Quarter.
- Can I pick my site? We do try to accommodate requests, but we do not GUARANTEE a specific site. We will guarantee site type. If you request a pull thru, back in or pull in when you make your reservation and we tell you that site type is available at that time, you will get that site type.
- Do you have full hook up sites? All sites are full hook up and most of them are 20/30/50 amp, with a few that are 20/30amp only.
- Can I charge my EV at my site? *****We do NOT have have EV charging stations***** Vehicle charging is not included in site fee. If you plan to charge a vehicle on our pedestals please clear it with us first. There is a $10 per day/per charge. If you do not clear with us and charge a vehicle, there will be a $25 fee charged to your card. We also do not fill gas/diesel tanks
- What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy – Nightly/Weekly Cancellation is not the same as Monthly – Please read the Covid-19 Cancellation Policy
Nightly/Weekly:
If you cancel 4 days or more days prior to your scheduled arrival you will be charged a cancellation fee of $25 and a 10% processing fee of reservation total.
If you cancel 3 days or less prior to your reservation date there are no refunds.
No refunds for early departure.
Monthly Reservations:
There is a $100 deposit for all monthly reservations. If you book multiple months, your deposit is $250. Your deposit is applied to the last month you stay. If you cancel 3 months prior to your arrival date you will be charged one night stay. If you cancel less than 3 months prior to your arrival date your full deposit is non-refundable. During Snowbird Season (November 1st – April 1st) if you cancel after September 1st of that season your full deposit is non-refundable regardless of when the reservation is.
No refunds for early departure.
All Reservations – Nightly/Weekly/Monthly:
If you cancel 3 days (72 hours) or less from the date of your scheduled arrival you will be charged the full amount of your reservation. The only exception is if there is a “NAMED” storm in the Gulf directly threatening this area during the period of your reservation AND there has been a mandatory evacuation called for RVs/trailers at our location.
During a holiday or event week:
If you cancel 10 days or more prior to your reservation you will be charged $25 cancellation fee and a 10% processing fee, if you cancel 9 days or less from the date of your scheduled arrival you will be charged the full amount of your reservation, no refund. The only exception is if there is a “NAMED” storm in the Gulf directly threatening this area during the period of your reservation AND there has been a mandatory evacuation called for RV/trailers at our location.
When you provide credit card information at time of reservation, you agree to this cancellation policy.
There are no refunds for early departure.
In the event you cancel and a refund is transferred to a user credit, user credits are not transferable and cannot be used during holidays or event weeks and do have an expiration date of one year. Cancellation fees will apply.
If you extend your stay the pricing is not retroactive to a weekly or monthly rate.
Covid Cancellation Policy –
If you are cancelling due to covid, our regular cancellation policy will apply.
There are no refunds for early departure. In the event you cancel and the refund is transferred to a user credit, user credits are not transferrable to another person and cannot be used during holidays or event weeks.
- Can I get a refund for early departure? There are no refunds for early departure.
- Can I have visitors? You may have visitors at your site, number of visitors are limited per site, there is a charge of $5 per person per day and they must leave by quiet time. $10 per person per day during holidays and special events.
- What is Quiet Time? Quiet time is at 10pm – 7am. You are welcome to stay on your site outside after quiet time, but all music must be turned off and your voices must be kept at a level that it does not disturb other guests.
- How late is the pool open? The pool is open until 8pm.
- Can I take food & beverage into the pool? No food is allowed in the pool area, you are welcome to take beverages into the pool area, but no glass is allowed, and coolers must stay outside the fenced pool area.
- Do you have planned activities? During the winter months we have a full calendar of activities that take place in the park as well as group trips. The remainder of the year, we have several planned activities in the park during all the holiday weekends and will often have an impromptu potluck at other times of the year.
- Can I bring my golf cart? Golf carts are not allowed in the park.
- Do you have concrete pads? Our pads are gravel and level. Concrete pads are 12* hotter when they absorb heat than a gravel pad, so having gravel is a much greener option. Please see our photo gallery for site photos. (link to photos)
- Do you have patios on the sites? We currently do not have any patios on our sites, but that is in our future. Please check our Photo Gallery for site photos (link to photos)
- Can I stream movies over the WIFI? No, we do have complimentary fiber internet that will allow you to surf the web, check email, Facebook, etc., but we do not have the bandwidth available to allow streaming.
- Can I live at the park? We do not have permanent residents at our park, we do have long term stays and rent some sites on a monthly basis.
- Can I have mail delivered to the park? You can have your packages delivered to the park and you can have your mail temporarily forwarded to the park during your stay but cannot use the park address as your permanent address. You cannot use our address to register vehicles, receive bills, etc. In the event you stay for an extended visit and you don’t have another address, we suggest getting a P.O. Box.
- Do you allow pets? We are pet friendly to friendly pets, so we do welcome them. Of course, they must be leashed and cannot be left alone outside. You must pick up after your pets.
- Do you have a dog park? We have a large dog park with a pet waste station.
- What happens if I don’t pick up after my pets? There will be a $50 fine for anyone not picking up after their pet and that includes out on our trails or any area of the park. If you are walking in an area, so is someone else, so please pick up. If you are a repeat offender, you will be asked to leave with no refund. Remember there is no poo fairy. ?
